Met Éireann website widgets

The following widgets are provided to allow you to include official weather information from Met Éireann on your own website. To insert these widgets on your website simply copy and paste the code with each widget to your own website.

Local Observations Widgets

Two options are available:

https://www.met.ie/widgets/observations/ this gives the user a choice to select a condensed version of the current observations of our weather stations from a drop-down.

Set county widget

Example- Set county widget

https://www.met.ie/widgets/county/galway this is a permanent county widget with a condensed version current observations for each county in the Republic of Ireland. Here is the example for Galway, just change the county name at the end of that url as required.

Each widget will display the latest weather observation for your selected county.

Weather Warnings Widget

This widget displays valid colour-coded current weather warnings for Ireland. If a user clicks her/his county on the maps they will be directed to a warnings page on met.ie for their county. The warnings system is explained here.
