Cool and breezy with sunny spells and showers for this afternoon and evening, some heavy with isolated thunderstorm possible. A band of more persistent rain will develop in the west and spread eastwards through the evening, in moderate southwest winds.
Tonight the rain will clear eastwards and it will be mainly dry with clear spells and just isolated showers. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds.

Tomorrow will bring a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy. They will gradually die out through the late-afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 14 or 15 degrees with moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty southwest or west winds, decreasing light to moderate later.

Saturday night will start off mostly dry with clear spells. Cloud will increase from the west and rain will develop in the southwest overnight. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light winds becoming southeasterly overnight and freshening, increasing very blustery with the rain.
On Sunday morning, rain will spread northeastwards to all areas along with fresh southeasterly winds. It will be heavy at times and will clear northeastwards in the afternoon with sunshine and showers following, some heavy. Winds will become moderate to fresh southwesterly as rain clears. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees. Showers will continue through Sunday night, especially in the west and north. It will be windy too with strong and gusty southwest winds.
Monday will be cool and windy with heavy showers or longer spells of rain. Some spot flooding is possible in the northwest. Some bright or sunny intervals also. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with fresh, gusty westerly winds, strong over Ulster with gales possible near the north coast.
Tuesday will bring some bright or sunny spells and some scattered showers with some rain possible for a time in southern areas. Currently it looks drier and Autumnal mid-week with calm conditions, before it turns unsettled and blustery again later in the week.
