Saturday will be a mostly cloudy day with occasional rain or drizzle. Brighter weather developing in northern parts as the day goes on. Maximum temperatures ranging from 19 to 23 degrees in moderate southwest winds.

National Outlook

Overview: The mixed and changeable weather pattern will continue into next week.

Saturday night: On Saturday night, there will be patchy rain, drizzle and mist in the south and southeast. It will be mainly dry elsewhere with some clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in the north and 13 to 16 degrees in the south with light and variable winds.

Sunday: Sunday will be a warm and humid day. There will be lots of cloud in the south in the morning with perhaps some patches of mist and drizzle. However, cloud will break in many areas during the afternoon with bright or sunny spells developing. Maximum temperatures of 19 to 23 degrees in moderate southerly winds. Lots of dry weather on Sunday night but there'll be a little patchy rain or drizzle in Atlantic coastal districts. A close and humid night with lowest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in moderate southerly breezes.

Monday: Another warm and humid day on Monday. It will be a cloudy start for many with some areas of mist and drizzle. However, sunny spells will develop in places during the day with just the chance of a few passing showers. Towards the end of the day, outbreaks of rain will develop in the west and northwest. Maximum temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees in moderate southerly winds. On Monday night, a rain-band associated with a cold front will push eastwards over Ireland although rainfall totals will be small. Clearer and fresher weather will follow from the west later in the night as the rain clears into the Irish Sea. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees in moderate southwest to west winds.

Tuesday: Tuesday will be a bright and breezy day with plenty of sunshine and just a few passing showers. Highest temperatures of 16 to 22 degrees, coolest in the northwest and warmest in the southeast with fresh northwest winds.
